Drafted advisory memos, observed civil and criminal court proceedings from pleadings to trial, attended oral arguments before the California Supreme Court and California Court of Appeal, and participated in oral argument and legal writing workshops. Developed skills for identifying appropriately drafted complaints, answers, and motions before the court. Additionally, participated in self-guided research projects for the court.

Oversaw the general functions of the law office including: conducting client intake interviews, accounting, scheduling appointments, drafting legal documents, and researching various labor and employment law issues.

 

Shift Supervisor – Starbucks – Santa Monica, CA – Sept. 2015-July 2016

Led a staff of baristas while handling day-to-day operations such as deposits and daily supply ordering. Handcrafted beverages, extended hospitality to customers, and embodied the warm, welcoming Starbucks culture. Kept current with company policies and put them into practice, and trained other baristas.

 

Creative Affairs Intern – Warner Bros. Television – Burbank, CA – Sept. 2013-Dec. 2013

Familiarized myself with current and upcoming writers and directors, organizing sensitive materials, providing ingenuity within assigned tasks, understanding the process used to develop a television show from idea to pilot, general office maintenance, and immersing myself in the studio culture to best serve the company.
